Hi, my name is Janice White.  Jodie's Place was established in honour of my yellow lab companion Jodie who had a privileged and long life. Instead of sulking over my deep heartbreak with her loss, I envisioned and created a place where dog owners could leave their pets worry-free and in safe, responsible hands. The safety and well being of your dog is my number one priority, the reason why I successfully obtained a pet first aid certificate. I don't work outside of the home so your dog(s) will have my full attention and be spoiled as there are no other pets residing here.  Your dog will be treated like family.

Together with the support of my husband, Dave, we have entertained and cared for dogs of different breeds, large and small. We love them all and cater to their personalities and lifestyles. Throughout our lives, animals have always had a strong presence, which has resulted in the true passion that we feel for them today. 

I take this job seriously as any of my other caregiving positions I've held in my life as Mother, Grandmother, Big Sister Volunteer and Pet Owner. Because of my loyalty and commitment to my clients, I have established a wonderful clientele.  To see my repeat dogs wagging their tails with excitement as they enter a familiar and loving home is a priceless moment that always brings a smile to my face.
 
With Jodie's Place, I have found true happiness in a career that brings me so much joy and satisfaction. It would be a privilege to have the opportunity to open my door to your dog to indulge him or her with much affection, care and attention that so many dogs crave and deserve.
